Davis Langdon Engineering Services (DLES) is the market leader in its field and was formed by the merger of Mott Green Wall with Davis Langdon in 1999 – when it was clear that major clients repeatedly wanted both firms in their teams. Mott Green and Wall was established in 1972 to specialise in building services quantity surveying from an engineering and contracting background - a strategy that proved to be highly effective.

DLES operates as a Service Line within the UK and is represented in all of the UK Regions. Combined with the DLES teams in the Middle East and North Aftica, the team is formed of 120 people with specific experience in engineering services - from core mechanical and electrical, through lifts and escalators, to specialist installations such as BMS, security, IT and AV.

Engineering cost consultancy is our primary service, but our expertise is also used to meet a wide variety of needs, including utility infrastructure procurement, sustainability and whole life cost analysis, design and performance audits and studies of many kinds to support property investment decision-making.

Because our particular blend of skills is not properly catered for in university courses, we created our own Academy to train school leavers through bespoke 3-4 year courses in London and at the Davis Langdon Academy in the Philippines.  These are fully modularised BSc degree programmes led by our own engineers, quantity surveyors and other specialists.
